On 11-08-7, at 9:05 p.m. officers responded to a call of a medical emergency at a residence in the 100 block of East St. Charles Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased 44-year-old female, identified as Tamara Magic, inside the house. Ms. Magic resided at the residence.

 

The crime scene is being processed for evidence, and witnesses are being interviewed. The investigation is being conducted jointly by the Rapid City Police Department and the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office.

 

At this time, 22-year-old Tad Blackburn is in custody and charged with second degree murder. Mr. Blackburn is from Rapid City, SD.
