Rapid City, S.D. –At 4:50 a.m. on July 21, police were called to 832 Wambli Drive for a report of a drive-by shooting.

The residents were asleep inside the home when the shooting occurred. Police have recovered seven casings, and four rounds entered the house. One round was found lodged in the armrest of a couch in the living room where a child slept. No one was injured.

Witnesses describe the suspect vehicle as a light gray or silver SUV. Police are asking anyone with information to call 394-4131. Anonymous tips can also be sent to police by texting ‘RCPD’ and the info to 847411, or online at www.rapidcitypolice.org.
