Rapid City, S.D. –The Rapid City Police Department is sending resources to assist the Custer County Sheriff’s Office with the Myrtle Fire. RCPD officers will assist with road closures and other duties as requested throughout the weekend.

The Myrtle Fire is currently raging near Pringle. The RCPD is one of several agencies sending additional resources to assist first responders.
