June 22 - Guns 'n Hoses Blood Drive Set for June 26-29
Rapid City, S.D. - The Rapid City Police Department and Rapid City Fire Department are racing to eliminate blood shortages in the seventh annual Guns 'n Hoses blood drive, and they need the public's help.
The RCPD and RCFD will compete to see who can collect the most pints of blood. This year's four-day drive will serve as a tie-breaker; both teams are tied up at three wins each.
Friends and family are encouraged to attend and give for their team. Food and drink will be provided, and the first 1,000 people that donate will receive a free t-shirt.
United Blood Services will be collecting blood donations in the Rushmore Mall near Sears at the following times:
Tuesday, June 26 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Wednesday, June 27 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Thursday, June 28 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday, June 29 from 7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
