Rapid City, S.D. –At 11 a.m. on April 30, Rapid City Police conducted a compliance inspection at Ifrits Hookah Lounge at 725 Saint Joseph Street. Police determined that the business was no longer selling alcohol, and is now in compliance with state smoking laws. No citations were issued.
“From a business standpoint, this must have been a tough decision for the owners to make,” said Police Chief Steve Allender. “But from a legal standpoint, it was the right thing to do. We want to thank the owners and managers for their cooperation.”
