Rapid City, S.D. –Chief of Police Steve Allender recently announced the promotion of two officers within the Rapid City Police Department:

Detective Cathy Bock has been promoted to sergeant and will be assigned to the Field Services Division. Bock began her career with the Rapid City Police Department in 1997. She was promoted to detective in 2003, and assigned to the Unified Narcotics Enforcement Team in 2009.

Senior Officer Chris Hall has been promoted to sergeant and will be assigned to the Field Services Division. Hall began his career with the Rapid City Police Department in 1994, and was promoted to senior officer in 2001.
