Rapid City, S.D. –Rapid City police are investigating a series of concession stand burglaries that occurred overnight.
Sometime between 8 p.m. on June 13 and 7 a.m. on June 14, unknown subjects broke into concession stands at 1450 32nd Street (Timberline Little League), 1610 32nd Street (Canyon Lake Little League) and 2721 Canyon Lake Drive (American Legion Post 22).
In all three burglaries, the subjects forced entry to the concession stand, stealing food and cash. They used a key from one of the concession stands to open a vending machine, stealing the cash inside. In addition, the subjects stole a safe from Post 22, and a freezer filled with food from Canyon Lake Little League.
Anyone with information on the burglaries is asked to contact police at 394-4134.
