Rapid City, S.D. –At approximately 11 p.m. on May 12, officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at YMCA Church at 1124 Kansas City Street. A neighbor reported seeing several subjects entering the building.
Officers arriving at the scene discovered the doors were locked, and heard noises coming from inside the building. A team of officers entered the building, and with the help of a K9, located a male suspect hiding under a table in a storage room. The K9 also helped locate a second male suspect hiding under a church pew in the sanctuary.
Sean Bielstein, 28, of Black Hawk, was arrested for burglary, substitute license plates, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Aaron Goodart, 27, of Rapid City, was also arrested for burglary.
