August 16, 2010 - Shooting at the Budget Inn Motel

On 8/14/10 at 1:15 a.m., the Rapid City Police Department responded to a report of a shooting that occurred in room #35 of the Budget Inn Motel at 610 East North Street. Responding officers found a 36 year old male with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was transported to Rapid City Regional Hosptial where he was treated for his injury and released.
This case is under investigation and the suspect is unknown at this time. We are requesting that anyone with any information contact the Rapid City Police Department at 394-4131.
