July 27, 2009 - Roosevelt Park Homicide

On July 27, 2009 at 2:28 p.m. the Rapid City Police Department responded to a call of an unconscious male in Roosevelt Park. The individual was transported to Rapid City Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced to have died from his injuries. At this point the call is being treated as a homicide and is under investigation by the Rapid City Police Department and the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office. The name of the victim is not being released pending notification of his family.
