FOLLOW UP NEWS RELEASE – Fatal accident involving 17 year-old Chelsea Miller
As a result of a follow-up investigation, we have determined that 17-year-old, Chelsea Miller had a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit of .08 percent. We have also concluded that the alcohol consumed by Ms. Miller was furnished by 30 year-old Brian LeBeau of Rapid City. LeBeau was arrested yesterday on charges of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor. Both are class one misdemeanors punishable by a maximum of one year in jail and $1000 fine or both.
This investigation is continuing.
