BIOGRAPHY
Mako is a German Shepherd born in Poland on January 13, 2003. He was imported by Joe Clingan of Fort Collins Protection Dogs and was trained under Joe's supervision at Fort Collins, Colorado. Mako was ultimately sold to the Rapid City Police Department and began serving the citizen's of Rapid City the summer of 2004.

Mako's daily patrol responsibilities include: building searches, area searches, narcotic detection, evidence recovery, and criminal apprehension. When he's not protecting the community, he lives with his handler and has the life of an average family pet.
