MICHAEL SCHAD

Mike grew up in Spearfish, South Dakota, graduating from Spearfish High School in 1988. Following graduation from the University of South Dakota in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in history and political science, he attended the University of South Dakota School of Law, graduating in 1996. From June of 1996 to June of 1997, Mr. Schad served as a law clerk for the Seventh Judicial Circuit. From June of 1997 until May of 1998, Mr. Schad served as Deputy State's Attorney for Pennington County. Following a short stint in private practice, Mr. Schad returned to the States Attorney's Office from December of 1998 until December of 2007, when he began serving as an Assistant City Attorney.
